Blixt Editor – Terms of Service

Effective Date: December 2, 2025

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Blixt Editor (the "Service"), a web-based collaborative editing and productivity platform owned and operated by Lunar Labs Limited ("Lunar Labs," "we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in Malta under company number C 106920, with its registered office at 36 Flat 3, Triq L-Abbate Savoia, Naxxar, NXR 1141, Malta. By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" will refer to both you and that organization.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country to use online services without parental consent) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Account Registration

• You must create an account to use most features of the Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary.

3. Subscription Plans and Payment

3.1. Free and Paid Plans

The Service is offered under free and paid subscription plans ("Plans"). Features, storage limits, and usage quotas vary by Plan.

3.2. Billing

Paid Plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your selection). All fees are exclusive of taxes (including VAT where applicable), which may be added where required by law.

3.3. No Refunds

Payments are non-refundable except as expressly stated in Section 12 (Termination) or where required by applicable law (including EU consumer rights).

3.4. Price Changes

We may change Plan prices with 30 days’ notice. Price changes will apply to the next billing cycle after the notice period.

4. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of any applicable fees, Lunar Labs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes.

5. User Content

5.1. Ownership

You retain all rights to the content you create, upload, or store using the Service ("User Content").

5.2. License to Lunar Labs

You grant Lunar Labs a worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable license to host, store, back up, display, and transmit your User Content solely as necessary to provide and improve the Service and as permitted by our Privacy Policy.

5.3. Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have all necessary rights and permissions to upload and share it.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Upload viruses, malware, or any harmful code.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users’ accounts.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers on the Service without our written permission.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
• Resell, lease, or commercially exploit the Service in a way that competes with Blixt Editor.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, trademarks, and branding (excluding User Content), is owned by Lunar Labs Limited and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not use our intellectual property without prior written consent.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content or practices of such third parties.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LUNAR LABS LIMITED, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AND EMPLOYEES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.

11. Termination

11.1. By You

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

11.2. By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without notice, if you breach these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or if we are required to do so by law.

11.3. Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We may delete your User Content after 30 days unless you export it earlier. Paid subscriptions will not be refunded except where required by applicable law (including your 14-day withdrawal right if you are an EU consumer and have not yet used the paid features).

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malta. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malta, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via an in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after the changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Miscellaneous

• These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Lunar Labs Limited.
• If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
• Our failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver.
• You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
